82 Nights Kickstarter has launched!

June 23, 2015

This project really started last July when my second child was born. I remembered the months immediately following my first born being particularly busy and having no time to make art. This time around I was determined to continue making art on a regular basis! So starting in October I began filling up a little moleskine book with little ink drawings.

Longing

The only time I had to work on this was while my boys were napping or late at night after they had been put to bed.  It was a long but very rewarding process. And now I get to share it with you!

I have just launched a Kickstarter campaign to print all these little moments out into a book for others to enjoy! Please check it out to see if it is something that you might enjoy.

This one makes me happy too! 😊 I can’t decide if I like cold press or hot press more! I do love how the pigments mix and settle on this paper though ❤️

It’s been a while since painting felt so right! I hope that I can hold on to that feeling and create more. In a meantime if this one calls out to you, it is available on @everydayorig today

*edit* Wow! It looks like actually sold already 🥰
I’m listening to some classic novels while painting, so this is The Great Gatsby inspired. I did read this book many years ago, but I couldn’t quite understand it due to language barrier. I must say that ending is not at all how I remembe
I decided to make some swatches to keep track of all the paints I own, I want to try some different color schemes. (Which I can do in other media but I seem to struggle with in watercolor)

This was a very quick little painting and it features @jazpe
I’m excited to tell you that this piece will be available on @everydayorig on the 19th! I always enjoy painting scenes inspired by the ocean, so this piece was a pleasure to work on. I hope that you like it ❤️

I visited my friend @emilywarrenart this weekend, and she let me play with her markers! It’s been a long time since I’ve had this much fun working on art, it definitely got me out of my comfort zone. I wish that I knew how to photograph t
I have very mixed feelings about this painting. I was working on it for Everyday Original as my already ill cat took turn for the worse. I tried to power through it and finish, but I was feeling super uninspired and sad, and I ended up backing out.
Sometimes I really wish I could go to where these guys live! 😊 I hope that you have a lovely day.

I’m feeling nostalgic again- everything was so much simpler back when I painted these two.
