82 Nights Kickstarter has launched!

June 23, 2015

This project really started last July when my second child was born. I remembered the months immediately following my first born being particularly busy and having no time to make art. This time around I was determined to continue making art on a regular basis! So starting in October I began filling up a little moleskine book with little ink drawings.

Longing

The only time I had to work on this was while my boys were napping or late at night after they had been put to bed.  It was a long but very rewarding process. And now I get to share it with you!

I have just launched a Kickstarter campaign to print all these little moments out into a book for others to enjoy! Please check it out to see if it is something that you might enjoy.

Just one page this time, but this one makes me happy ❤️

Also a proof that I don’t need more colors probably! (Not that it will stop me)
New watercolor journal spread. This one is a little bit weird!
I received some travel brushes from @artifyartsupplies for a review, and this is what I painted with them! Things that I immediately liked about them:

I really enjoy the feel of them in my hand, they are nice to hold and paint with.

I like that th
Art journal spread, feeling a bit uninspired lately. The stained glass painting was my son’s idea, and was surprisingly difficult.
I don’t think I ever posted this one, it never felt quite finished to me.
Back to my watercolor journal, plus some quick pansies.
It’s been quite a while, and this is not what I usually paint/post, but I found and joined a plein air group! I hope that it will inspire me to paint from imagination again. In a meantime I’m happy to be painting more regularly again ❤️
I feel like all creativity drained out of me these past few months. I did draw some portrait studies though (these are probably most successful of the bunch), and I found a somewhat local plein air group.
I went on a trip with me and brought this journal with me hoping that I’d paint something new! I didn’t, and now I feel I’m back to the square one in this process -but this time I have a physical proof that it doesn’t last for
